Rachell Brooks celebrates her fifteen year anniversary with Pediatric Associates this month. Thanks Rachell and here's to many more years.

Welcome Our New Travel Medicine Support and Travel Medicine Nurse

Pediatric Associates is thrilled to announce the addition of Stacie Begley to our staff. Stacie is working on our nursing staff and is also spearheading our new travel medicine program.  She led travel medicine for St Elizabeth and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our patients.  Welcome Stacie!

We want to help ensure all of your travels are safe and fun. Staying healthy during your trip and upon your return can help. We offer travel medicine visits and some travel vaccines in the office. We like to have as much notice before travel as possible in case your child needs a series. Call our office to schedule an appointment.  We will work with you based on your itinerary to determine what vaccines are needed. We will also provide other helpful tips about safety while traveling to your particular destination.

    Counseling in Our Office

This month we welcomed Abby Schaber as a provider.  She is a counselor and will be in our Crestview Hills office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The past few years she worked in the Campbell County Schools as well as in private practice. If you believe your child could benefit from an appointment with her please schedule with one of our doctors. They will determine if it is best to see Abby or if someone else would serve you better.  We are happy to offer this service right here, making these appointments more convenient for you and more comfortable for your child.

Pediatric Associates Welcomes Michael Janensch, PA-C

We continue to welcome the newest provider to the Pediatric Associates family, Mike Janensch. Mike completed his Physician Assistant training at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA and most recently worked in a rheumatology practice in Petoskey, MI.  But Mike is returning to his roots by joining us.  He initially planned on pediatrics as his chosen field and also grew up in Kentucky.  Welcome home, Mike!

    Thanks Kerry Brown, parenting Specalist

This time of year is a great opportunity to talk about gratitude with your family. Gratitude is being aware of and being thankful for the good things that happen in your life and being mindful about the time to express that thanks. You can share what you are all grateful for around the table at meals, or even in the car. Talking about what you are thankful for can help your child start to become aware of and learn to appreciate things they may take for granted.

In keeping with gratitude, I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Pediatric Associates for partnering with Beech Acres Parenting Center to offer Parent ConnextTM over the past 3 years.  I have truly enjoyed working with the talented PANK team and hundreds of parents during my tenure.  Starting in January 2020, you can still receive Parent Coaching services through Beech Acres for a fee.  Sessions can be virtual, by phone or in person at a Beech Acres location. Information will be available at PANK or you can connect with us directly via

I will be hosting my last Facebook live session on Dec. 11 at 1:00. Tune in to hear how to encourage your child to give back over the holidays.  I hope you and your family have a happy and healthy holiday season filled with gratitude and joy.
