Flu is Here, But It's Not Too Late to Get Your Flu Shot

Influenza season has started early this year and appears more severe than in the past.  It is not too late to get vaccinated! The vaccine may not prevent the flu but makes it milder and decreases the chance of complications like pneumonia, hospitalization, and death.   The flu vaccine is recommended for all children 6 months and older.  It is especially important for infants under age 2 and children with chronic illnesses such as asthma or diabetes.    The CDC recommends vaccination throughout the winter months. We will only be offering the injectable flu vaccine due to supply delays with the nasal flu mist. Please call us to schedule 859-341-5400.
