Appointments

Same Day Availability
We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. So that you will not have an excessive wait to see the doctor, all visits are by appointment.  If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.

Two or more children 
If you would like us to see and examine more than one child, please schedule both of them when you make your appointment. Without an appointment, we may not be able to see a sick sibling right away, and you may be asked to wait while the provider sees a scheduled patient who may be waiting.

Missed and Late Appointments
If you fail to show up for your appointment, a missed appointment charge may be applied to your account. In the event that you are late for your appointment, please call us and understand we may have to reschedule. This is done to reduce waiting time for others.

"Walk in" Patients
Walk-in patients may be assessed a walk in fee, and will be fit into the existing schedule if possible, or they will be asked to return later when the schedule allows.

Telemedicine (NEW)
We are pleased to announce telemedicine as a new option for the care of your children. At this time, we have chosen to use Doxy.me, a free web based program that is very user friendly. You can use it on a phone, laptop or desktop. A phone is best for young children and to look up close at the throat, eyes, rashes, etc. You must have working audio and video. The appointments will be scheduled with a provider who is working on the day of your request, the same way we schedule all our visits. Some examples of the types of visits we will see include rashes, mild cough/cold symptoms, constipation, mental and behavioral health, pink eye, allergies, and swimmer’s ear. Examples of visits that still need to be seen in the office include urinary symptoms, ear aches, sore throats, prolonged fevers.
 
Please make sure we have your most accurate email and cell phone in case of connectivity issues. We will be billing these visits just like we do office visits, so the usual co-pays or deductibles may apply. We will collect the co-pays at the time of scheduling.
