Care Coordination
At Pediatric Associates, our pediatricians are supported by two dedicated nurses who are focused on
care coordination to ensure your child receives seamless, personalized care. They assist with scheduling behavioral health appointments, coordinating specialty referrals, following up after hospital or urgent care visits, and checking in after your child starts a new medication. These care coordinators also handle prior authorizations, help with pre-visit planning to maximize the value of your well visits, and support transition planning if your child is aging out of pediatric care or moving to a new provider.
Telemedicine
We currently offer
telemedicine services in select situations using Doxy.me, a user-friendly, web-based platform accessible from your phone, laptop, or desktop with audio and video capability. Telehealth visits are scheduled with the available pediatrician on the day of your request, just like in-office appointments. To ensure a smooth virtual experience, we ask that your email and phone number are up to date. These visits are billed similarly to standard office visits, and any applicable co-pays or deductibles will be collected at the time of scheduling.
