Breastfeeding Information

Lactation appointments are available at all of our offices.  These services are provided by providers with lactation certification.  Please call (859) 341-5400 for an appointment.


Breastfeeding can be challenging and overwhelming. We are here to support both mom and the baby. We would start with a feeding assessment to observe latch, assess milk transfer and work together for a feeding plan that is best for the bay and mom. We can also help with problems such as: 

  • Latch issues
  • Under or over-supply
  • Slow infant weight gain/weight loss
  • Nipple confusion
  • Pumping
  • Returning to work
  • Weaning
  • Engorgement
  • Bottle Refusal
