Brooke Richart LPCC

Brooke was born and raised in Cincinnati, but ventured to the east coast for college earning a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She taught middle school special education for 5 years in the Bronx, specializing in ADHD and learning disabilities. While teaching she earned a Master’s in Education from Hunter College. Brooke moved back to Cincinnati and taught as a middle school learning specialist for 5 more years, while also running her own tutoring business. She decided to switch career paths in 2019 and earned her Master’s in Counseling from Xavier University in 2022. After completing her internship with Pediatric Associates, Brooke will join the Behavioral Health team full-time in Fall 2022. She is a licensed counselor in both Ohio and Kentucky, as well as a certified K-12 Intervention Specialist in Ohio. Brooke is passionate about working with kids who have special needs or those who find school challenging, as well as supporting families and clients who are dealing with anxiety and depression. Brooke is also continually seeking ways to be a supportive and affirming counselor for LGBTQ+ youth. No matter where you start from, she looks forward to helping you and your child make positive changes collaboratively. 
 
Brooke resides in Cincinnati with her husband and two dogs. She is an avid Reds fan and traveler; she is on a quest to visit every MLB ballpark, National Park, and all 50 states. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, knitting, and reading.
