The Commonwealth of Virginia developed this resource for parents to help them develop a step-wise driving training program at home. While the hour requirements are slightly different in KY, the principles of driver training are the same. We hope your family finds this helpful!

Before the season starts, make sure your child is ready to play—with a sports physical from their pediatrician. Unlike quick clinic visits, your pediatrician provides:

Flu Vaccines for the Whole Household!

Annual flu vaccination is a safe and effective way to prevent severe illness, hospitalization, and death from the flu virus.  We are going to continue to offer the flu vaccines not only to our patients but also the adults who live with them.
Our flu clinic schedule is now open for fall Saturday clinics at Crestview Hills (9/27, 10/18, and 11/1). We also have weekday appointments open at all locations. Please call and schedule to get the day and time you prefer.
You may also have heard that the ACIP (advisory committee for immunization practices) is reviewing ingredients in flu vaccines at their upcoming meeting in June. They will specifically look at thimerosal (a mercury derivative) that is used as a preservative in multi-dose vials of the flu vaccine. The flu vaccine we administer at PANK is a single dose vial, and does not have any preservatives, including thimerosal.

Summer Safety

☀ ️ Summer is a great time for kids to explore, play, and make memories, but it’s also important to keep safety top of mind! Whether your child is heading to the pool, playing at the park, or just enjoying the sunshine, here are a few quick reminders:

🧴 Stay Sun Smart: Apply sunscreen and wear protective hats and clothing.

💧 Hydration is Key: Encourage kids to drink water often, especially during outdoor play.

🏖 ️ Water Safety First: Always supervise children near water, whether it’s the beach, a pool, or even a backyard splash pad.

🚴 Helmet Up: Make sure helmets are worn for biking, skateboarding, and scootering.

Check in From Home
You can now check in for your appointment from home.  When you get a text to remind you of an upcoming appointment you can take care of all the check in work before you get to the office.  Just click the link so you can check your demographics, give us your new insurance information and fill out forms before you get to our office.  You can also do this from your portal account.  We hope this makes your next visit to our office a little nicer.
