Employee Anniversaries
Missy Rapp
has worked with us for 25 years this month. She has worked behind the scenes in our billing office since she joined us. In January she became our new Billing Manager. Her hard work and wealth of knowledge continue to be at play every day. We are so glad to have her here and leading this department.
Over her 20 years with us
Allison Palmer
has worked in many clinical roles. You may know her from her time working on the floor, on the phones or as a Care Coordinator. Last year she transitioned to a role as our Assistant Nurse Manager and is now our Nurse Manager. Her experience and dedication over the years are appreciated.
Our Behavioral Health Division started in 2020 and one of our first counselors to join us was
Melissa Haag-Costin
. She has been with us for 5 years and has brought so much to our patients and providers. Melissa has special training to supervise counselors before and after finishing their training. This skill has allowed her to not only provide great counseling services but also to help develop the next generation of counselors to serve patients in our office and throughout the area. Thank you to Melissa for all you do to help make Pediatric Associates a great place for patients and families.

Pediatric Associates Would Like Your Feedback!
The providers of Pediatric Associates would like to hear from our patients and families! In the past, your feedback helped us to understand how we could improve our systems. All families should have received a survey via email from us. If you missed it, please use the link
HERE
to complete the survey by June 6. It is 4 questions and should take less than 5 minutes. Thanks for considering this!

Mental Health Awareness Month, PANK Blog: Maintaining Routines Even During Summer Break
With summer break approaching and the school year coming to an end, it is important to start thinking about your family's routine for the summer. Having a set schedule and somewhat consistent routine is important for children’s mental health. Routines help foster a sense of safety, stability, and predictability, which are key for emotional well-being as well as help kids develop a sense of responsibility. Although kids are excited to be out of school, they will continue to benefit from a regular routine.

Remote Check in is Here!
We started using a remote check in process last week. We hope this feature will make the check in process easier for all of you. Your text reminder about an appointment will include the check in link so you can check your demographics, give us your new insurance information and fill out forms before you get to our office. We hope this makes your next visit to our office a little nicer.

Congratulations to all of our Graduates!
We know many of our patients are celebrating milestones with graduation from academic programs this month. We congratulate all of you on your hard work, and wish you the best in your next steps! If you are graduating from high school, don't forget your annual well visit this summer to ensure your prescriptions are refilled, immunizations are up to date, and to discuss how we can continue to help you as you prepare to transition to adult care at age 21.
